Amazon Web Services (AWS) is a platform that enables the construction of flexible applications by providing elastic infrastructure scalability, messaging, and data storage solutions. The platform is available via SOAP or RESTful Web service interfaces and includes a Web-based panel where users can manage and monitor the resources needed, as well as their pay-as-you-go charges.
